Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Results AI ("Results AI", "we", "us"). By using our website, creating an account, or purchasing any service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Definitions

• AI assistant — a generative search or chat tool that answers questions in natural language, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and Claude.
• AI Engine Optimization (AEO) — the practice of helping a business appear, by name, in answers given by AI assistants when potential customers ask buying-intent questions.
• Audit — a structured test where we ask a set of customer-style prompts to multiple AI assistants and record which businesses are mentioned, in what context, and with what sentiment.
• Mention rate — the percentage of audited prompts where your business name is included in the AI's answer.
• Ranking asset — a piece of content (article, FAQ block, schema markup, profile update, or similar deliverable) we produce and publish so that AI assistants have a clean, citable source to draw from when answering questions about your category. Ranking assets are the building blocks of AEO.
• Prompt — a specific question we test against AI assistants, written the way a real customer would phrase it.
• Citation — a footnote or link an AI assistant provides to back up its answer. Earning citations is a primary AEO goal.
• Sentiment — whether the way an AI describes your business is positive, neutral, or negative.
• Dashboard — the customer-facing area of the platform where audit results, recommendations, and ranking assets are tracked over time.
• Service — collectively, the website, dashboard, audits, ranking assets, and any other deliverables we provide under a paid plan.

3. Accounts

To use the dashboard you must register an account with accurate, current information. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or close accounts that are inactive for more than 12 months.

4. Plans, billing, and renewals

Our pricing plans are listed on the pricing page and may change at any time, with at least 30 days' notice for existing customers. Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically. Annual plans are billed annually in advance, save you the equivalent of two months, and renew automatically. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings or by sending a message through the contact page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

All fees are in US dollars and exclusive of taxes. Late payments accrue interest at the lower of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any business that is illegal, deceptive, or violates the platform policies of the AI assistants we audit.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or resell the dashboard, audit reports, or ranking assets in a way that competes with Results AI.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other customer accounts or to our infrastructure.
• Send spam, malware, or attempt to abuse our APIs, contact form, or rate limits.
• Use Results AI to spread misinformation about competitors or to manipulate AI assistants in ways that violate their terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

6. Intellectual property

The website, dashboard, software, audit methodology, and proprietary scoring belong to Results AI. The ranking assets we produce for you become your property once paid for, with a non-exclusive, perpetual license back to Results AI to reference them in case studies and aggregate benchmarks (without disclosing identifying customer information without consent). Anything you publish to the public web from a ranking asset can be observed and used by AI assistants the same way any other public content can be.

7. AEO and AI assistant disclosures

We do not have any partnership with, endorsement from, or special access to OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, Microsoft, Anthropic, or any other AI assistant provider. Our service involves observing the public outputs of these systems and producing content and structured data that aligns with how they cite sources. AI assistants are constantly changing; we cannot guarantee that any particular ranking, mention rate, or citation will appear or persist. We do not claim per-platform testing of any kind beyond what is explicitly shown in your dashboard.

8. No guarantee of results

AEO is influenced by factors outside our control: competitor activity, AI model updates, your existing web presence, your industry, and the specific phrasing of customer prompts. We will use our methodology, experience, and best judgment to improve your visibility, but we do not guarantee any specific mention rate, citation count, traffic, lead volume, or revenue. Examples shared in marketing materials are illustrative and do not represent typical outcomes.

9. Confidentiality

We will not share customer-specific audit data, recommendations, or ranking assets with anyone outside Results AI, except contractors bound by similar obligations. You agree to treat any non-public methodology, pricing details, or pre-release features we share with you as confidential.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Results AI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Results AI's total liability arising from or related to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid Results AI in that 12-month period. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Results AI harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

13. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and cancel auto-renewal from your account or by request. We can suspend or terminate the service, with or without notice, for breach of these terms or for any other reason, refunding any prepaid amount for the unused portion of the current billing period.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Saskatchewan, except that either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced by email to active customers at least 30 days before they take effect.
