Privacy Policy
How Results AI collects, uses, stores, and protects information from visitors and customers.
Last updated: June 22, 2026
1. Who we are
Results AI ("Results AI", "we", "us", "our") is operated from Saskatchewan, Canada. Our website is intheresults.com. We provide AI Engine Optimization audits and content services that help businesses appear in answers from AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. Questions about this policy can be sent to our contact page or by phone at 306-313-5453.
2. What information we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Information you give us directly — your name, email, company, phone number, and the message you send when you complete our contact form, book a demo, or sign up for an account.
- Information we collect automatically — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and time spent on each page. This is collected through standard server logs and analytics scripts.
- Information about your business — when you become a customer, we collect business name, website URL, target prompts, target geography, and the audit data we generate about how your business appears in AI assistants. This is the data that powers your dashboard.
3. How we use it
We use the information to:
- Reply to your inquiries and deliver the services you've requested.
- Run the audits, generate reports, and surface recommendations inside your dashboard.
- Send service-related emails (audit completion, billing, account changes). You cannot unsubscribe from these while you have an active account.
- Send occasional marketing emails about new features or relevant industry updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
- Improve our platform, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with advertisers.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We use Cloudflare for security, performance, and bot mitigation, which sets a cookie called __cf_bm that expires after 30 minutes. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read most often. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
5. Where your data lives and who processes it
Your data is stored on servers operated by DigitalOcean and DigitalOcean's managed Postgres service. Email is delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing and Google Workspace. Form submissions pass through Cloudflare Turnstile to verify they are not automated. These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments and data processing agreements.
When you connect Google Search Console or run an audit, parts of your data are processed by the AI providers we use to generate recommendations: OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and Google AI. We send only what is needed to produce the analysis — typically the queries, page URLs, audit findings, and the resulting recommendations. We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties. These AI providers process the data solely to generate recommendations for your account and are bound by their own data processing agreements with us.
6. How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for 24 months. We keep account data for as long as you have an active account, plus 12 months after cancellation in case you return. Audit history is retained for the life of the account so trends can be tracked. You can request deletion at any time by sending us a message through the contact page.
Google Search Console data is different. When you disconnect your Google Search Console account, we immediately and permanently delete the encrypted OAuth refresh token, all cached Search Console query data (search terms, clicks, impressions, position), all cached page-level performance data, all indexing status data, and all derived recommendations generated from that data. Deletion happens in a single database transaction and cannot be undone. You may also revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions — if you revoke access there, the next time our system tries to use the token it will be invalidated and the same deletion process runs automatically.
7. Google Search Console integration
If you connect your Google Search Console account, this section explains exactly what we do with that data. It is intentionally explicit so you and any reviewer can verify the scope of our access.
What Google user data we access: Google Search Console performance data (queries, clicks, impressions, position) for the properties you authorize, indexing status for those properties, and your Google account email address (used to identify the connected account inside Results AI).
How we use it: Solely to generate SEO, AEO, and content recommendations for the connected site owner inside the Results AI dashboard. We do not use Google user data to train AI models, to build advertising profiles, or for any purpose other than producing recommendations for your account.
How we store it: OAuth refresh tokens are stored as encrypted values in our database using AES-256-GCM. Search Console query results are cached temporarily for analysis and report generation. No raw Google user data is exposed in our logs.
Who we share it with: We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties. Data is processed by our AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google AI) solely to generate recommendations for the connected account. These providers do not retain Google user data beyond the request.
How you can revoke access: Use the in-app disconnect button in your Results AI dashboard, or revoke at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Either action triggers the immediate, permanent deletion described in Section 6.
Limited Use disclosure. Results AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Questions specifically about how we handle Google Search Console data can be sent to [email protected].
8. Your rights
If you live in Canada, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or anywhere with similar privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations).
- Ask us to export your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for marketing email at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, send a message through the contact page. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Results AI is a business-to-business product. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years old. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, send us a note through the contact page and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use HTTPS sitewide, encrypted connections to our database, hashed passwords, rate limiting on every public endpoint, and Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee that information transmitted over the internet is fully protected. If we ever discover a breach involving your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant regulators within 72 hours.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy as the platform evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Significant changes will be announced by email to active customers.
12. Contact
